A beautiful 13th century village church, whose churchyard is famous for bird life. There is a stained-glass window of Christ the Good Shepherd above the altar, and a rare copy of Bishop Parry’s 17th century Welsh Bible. Raised pews at the back used to be a school, and roof timbers used during 16th century renovations are thought to be from the Spanish Armada.

Open 9am-5pm every day throughout September.

No booking required.

Address - St Peter’s Church, Llanbedr y Cennin, LL32 8UN.
